Tatranska Lomnica has over 20kms of well-prepared slopes and is especially good for beginners with a good selection of linked blue pistes that wind their way through the forests. It also boasts the highest vertical in central Europe with 1300m starting at 2196m.The apres-ski is a little on the quiet side but there are a few kively bars and a good selection of restaurants.

We think Tatranska Lomnica is a great place to start your skiing career - it's fun, everything you need is on your doorstep and it's certainly good value from the cost of the lift passes tp the apres-ski. Its off the radar for international tourism at the moment meaning the slopes are uncrowded and being just a 20-minute drive from Poporad Airport, Tatranska Lomnica is a great choice for families with young children.
