Tux piste map, Ziller Valley Skiing & snowboarding around the Zillertal Valley and Hintertux Glacier
Tux is part of the Ski & Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000 ski carousel. With 196kms of pistes spread over 5 ski areas, the Tux piste map is pretty useful for navigating your way around this fantastic and varied ski area.
- 5 lifts: Eggalm - Tux - Lanersbach
- 8 lifts: Rastkogel - Tux - Finkenberg
- 8 lifts: Finkenberger Almbahnen
- 21 lifts: Hintertuxer Gletscher
- 25 lifts: Mayrhofen
Rastkogel - Tux - Finkenberg is accessed directly from Tux via high speed gondola and shares the slopes on the Penken mountain with Mayrhofen. The slopes are largely for beginners and intermediates but there are a handful of black pistes for the more advanced including the the scary Harakiri run with a gradient of 70 degrees!
Further down the valley, there are the resorts around the Zillertal Arena ski carousel that includes Gerlos and Zell am Ziller plus the ski area above the pretty village of Fugen.
