Steeped in history and home to the Alpine pass that Hannibal used to get from France to Italy, Val Cenis Vanoise is a rare find with uncrowded slopes, superb facilities and a very welcoming atmosphere.
Skiing at Val Cenis Vanoise means exploring the 2 main linked ski areas above the pretty villages of Lanslevillard, Lanslebourg-Mont-Cenis and Termignon. Together, they provide 125km of mainly beginner and intermediate trails including what is probably the world's longest green run at 15km!
Off the slopes, you will experience traditional apres-ski bars and restaurants serving up wonderful local cuisine.

Our view on skiing in Val Cenis
Val Cenis Vanoise ski holidays are not on the radar yet largely because many skiers tend to head for the large ski carousels year after year such as the 3 Valleys or Paradiski.
However, for those in the know, the skiing in Val Cenis Vanoise is fantastic with great pistes and zero queues plus the authentic villages in the valley offer a unique gastronomic experience. The other plus factor is that everything from the lift passes to the apres-ski and accommodation costs a fraction of the price of the mass tourism resorts.
