The apartment is situated within walking distance of Lake Caumasee and Flims village with fantastic mountain views. Guests can also access the apartment from the lift in the garage. The spa with sauna and steam room and ski room is shared with four other apartments. The apartment is located just a few minutes walk from the centre of Flims with easy access to the cafes, bars, restaurants and ski lifts.
Ski season
Ski holidays in Flims, Switzerland - a snow sure glacial resort sitting at 1100m in the Surselva mountains surrounded by lakes, rivers and streams. Flims is lift linked into the White Arena ski area that includes the ski areas of LAAX, Falera and Laax Murschetg.
The lift linked ski area covers 235kms of pistes with many of the trails looping around the Crap Sogn Gion peak. From beginners to experts, skiing in Flims and around the White Arena caters for all abilities and provides easy access to high altitude skiing on the Vorab glacier. The home run down in to Flims is a lovely red piste through the forest and ending at Legnes bar for a gentle apres ski drink.
Once you have arrived at the apartment it is really not necessary to use your car. A free shuttle bus runs between Fidaz - Flims - Laax - Falera throughout the year and a timetable will be in your apartment.For more information on Flims and the surrounding area, please see our resort guide.
Summer
In summer to start a hike higher up the mountain you can take a bus to Nargens and hike to Vorab, or to Bargis and hike over the Flimserstein via Cassons. There is also a bus via Trin to the Alp Mora to visit the marvellous glacial pools and even take a dip. If you wish to drive to Crestasee or Laaxersee there is paid parking and your guestcacd gets you discounted entry. You can also drive to the rocks resort parking in Laax if you wish to take the ski lift from Laax some days but the parking does fill up in busy times so it is advised to take a bus or get the ski lift up from Flims.
