This exceptional and luxurious chalet is perfect for families and friends. Located 8kms from the international ski resort of Flims, the chalet is surrounded by nature with spectacular valley and mountain views. The historical Casa Felice boasts many original Walserhaus features including wood burning fires and exposed alt holz walls.
This lovingly renovated home dates back to 1470 and is a perfect blend of old and new. Eclectic furnishings and tasteful old wood make a place to relax and unwind. On the ground floor there is a large living room with log fire and entertainment system.
Also on this floor is a bright and spacious bedroom, a large bathroom with corner bathtub and shower and a WC. The main kitchen on this floor has a wood fire and a large well stocked area to cook in.

The floor above has a master bedroom with a chesterfield sofa and another tv and sound system. The second floor, which can also be accessed from the car port has an en-suite bathroom and luxurious bedroom. Next to this, there is another kitchen with a wood fire, a stubli which doubles as another bedroom and a cosy snug room. Stone steps lead onto the garden terrace with sun loungers, gas fired bbq and a table for dining. The garden gets sun all day and in summer has apricots, pears and lavender as well as a small herb garden.
Guests will receive check-in information before their arrival and can self check-in so they have flexibility for their arrival time. The apartment is located just 8kms from the centre of Flims and the ski lifts. The bus stop is a 1 minute walk. The nearest main town is Chur which is 10 minutes drive and Zurich is 1 hour and 20 minutes drive.
Holidays in Trin means easy access to the international resort of Flims, a snow sure glacial resort sitting at 1100m in the Surselva mountains surrounded by lakes, rivers and streams. Flims is lift linked into the White Arena ski area that includes the ski areas of LAAX, Falera and Laax Murschetg.
The lift linked ski area covers 235kms of pistes with many of the trails looping around the Crap Sogn Gion peak. From beginners to experts, skiing in Flims and around the White Arena caters for all abilities and provides easy access to high altitude skiing on the Vorab glacier. The home run down in to Flims is a lovely red piste through the forest and ending at Legnes bar for a gentle apres ski drink.
Once you have arrived at the apartment it is really not necessary to use your car. A free shuttle bus runs between Fidaz - Flims - Laax - Falera throughout the year and a timetable will be in your apartment.For more information on Flims and the surrounding area, please see our resort guide.
In summer, Trin is the perfect spot of exploring the hiking trails. To start a hike higher up the mountains around Flims, you can take a bus to Nargens and hike to Vorab, or to Bargis and hike over the Flimserstein via Cassons. There is also a bus from Trin to the Alp Mora. This is where you can see the spectacular glacial pools and even take a dip.
If you wish to drive to the lakes of Crestasee or Laaxersee, there is paid parking and your guestcacd gets you discounted entry. You can also drive to the rocks resort parking in Laax if you wish to take the ski lift but the parking does fill up in busy times so it is advised to take a bus or get the ski lift up from Flims.
