Off-Piste ski guiding & touring around Andermatt
Andermatt sits in the Ursern Valley which is the largest valley in Uri. Gemmstock ski tour
From the top of the Gemstock you are almost at 3000m giving spectacular panoramic views of more than 600 peaks.
This is a mini ski tour and ideal for your first ski safari in Andermatt. Take the Gemmstock lift and from there, you have magical off-piste terrain with a descent of the Feisental giving a variety of lines through perfect rolling off piste terrain.
Piz Badus (2,928m)
The tour starts at the Oberalp Pass, which can only be accessed by train during the winter, followed by a brief descent to Alp Milez. From Andermatt, the train takes around 20 minutes.
This 4 hour ski tour on the Gotthard massif takes you upto the top of Piz Badus at 2928m using skins. Once there, you cross a high col and then you can ski in deep powder all the way back to Tschamut descending more than 1300m via the Maighelshütte hut.
