Skiing the trails in Park City Mountain Resort is for all levels from complete beginner to advanced and the areas are clearly zoned depending upon your level of expertise.

One look at the Park City Mountain trail map says it all, lots of terrain for touring with deep powder bowls plus fantastic back-country off piste opportunities in total wilderness. Afterall, there are over 3000 acres to explore!

For a change of scenery, you can also ski in the nearby resorts of Deer Valley and Canyons.

Snowcat tours

One of the best and least expensive ways to go ski touring is via a snowcat. There is no need for your piste map here as your local guide will escourt you in to the unknown for an adventure to remember. The snowcat service is free with your lift pass and is a fantastic experience not to be missed.

More ski areas

There is talk of linking the ski resorts of Deer Valley, Park City, Canyons, Alta, Snowbird, Solitude and Brighton. That would be an impressive amount of terrain on a par with the some of the European carousels such as The Three Valleys and Dolomiti Super Ski in the Italian Dolomites where you don't leave home without your piste map!
