Ski holidays in Leukerbad are getting more and more popular. The Leukerbad piste map shows 52km of pisted runs with just about 10% being for beginners and over 40% being black runs for the advanced.

There are endless off-piste opportunities waiting to be explored - although a guide is highly recommended.

And, with most of the Leukerbad accommodation being a short walk to the lifts and some ski chalets and apartments offering doorstep skiing, less time is wasted getting on and off the slopes.

For a change of scenery and to experience high altitude skiing, you can also visit some of the other ski resorts in Valais which are all relatively close to Sion airport.
