Balme Vallorcine piste map Skiing & snowboarding in Vallorcine & around the Chamonix Valley

The Vallorcine piste map shows the local ski area at the top of the world famous Chamonix Valley. The pistes are ideal for beginners and intermediates plus there are several challenging off-pistes trails in the back bowls leading down in to switzerland.

The Balme Vallorcine ski area ranges from 1000m to 1860m and therefore is the perfect place to ski when the clouds engulf the higher altitude slopes at the Grand Montets. The ski runs through the forests are simply superb.

The highlight of any ski holiday in the Chamonix Valley is the 24km Vallee Blanche glacial route starting at 3842m at the Aiguille du Midi! - not to be missed and this trail is best tried with a local guide.

Overall, the Balme Vallorcine ski area and the other skiing options along the Chamonix Valley offer every type of terrain possible from beginner to extreme off-piste skiing. The other great thing about Vallorcine is that from the top lift on Balme, the spectacular views of the glaciers flowing down the valley slopes from Mont Blanc - a sight you never seem to get tired of looking at.
