General Snow Conditions 27th April 2017

Nearly all the ski resorts in France are closed for the season but there is still spring skiing to be found with good snow conditions thanks to this weeks snowfalls.

7 Day Snow Forecast French Alps & Pyrenees

The weather has certainly turned wintry again from the glorious sunny weather of the last 10 days. The snow has returned with a vengence together and with bitterly cold temperatures, it feels more like January! Around 40cms of fresh snow has fallen across the French Alps over the last few days and more is on its way. Heavy snow is forecast for tomorrow morning and again next Monday with accumulations of up to 80cms above 2000m giving a great end to the seasson for the remaining open resorts.
